At Least We'll Always Have Dice-K!
Roger Clemens has signed with the Yankees, taking the Sox off-guard, according to sources.
Meanwhile, ol' Dice-K has turned out not to be The Beatles, or even Jesus Christ. His reception was like the former's, but if he doesn't shape up, his send-off may be like the latter's.
Another inning like the first one against the Mariners and Matsuzaka may find himself diced up into maki. He started out by walking three, and by the end—of the first inning, mind you—had given up five runs!
When asked WTF? He replied in a perfect 5-7-5 haiku...
I wonder. I don't
really know what happened my
self.
...well, almost.
Poor Dice-no-K. According to the Globe, "Matsuzaka said it had been tough trying to meet the expectations built up after the Red Sox paid $100 million for his services."
WTF indeed.
