Pops Bridge to be Repainted (Puce Perhaps)
I noticed that the Arthur Fiedler foot bridge over Storrow Drive, which I use in the mornings to get to school, will be getting a new coat of paint tomorrow.
I wonder if they will repaint it its present salmon-that's-been-sitting-on-the-kitchen-counter-for-two-days color, or maybe try something new?
I would love to see it actually significantly widened and divided into cycling and walking lanes, and some convex mirrors added at both ends so you could see if there was anyone coming around the bend as you approached it.
Maybe by 2017.
Perhaps in an effort to regain some historical context they will revert to the hospital green that I remember from my youth.
