Doing the Con-Con, Part 1
I was just down at the State House, where they will vote (or not) on whether (or not) gay marriage will go to referendum.
All I can say at this point is that the gay side of the street is having a lot more fun than the anti-gay side, even just in critiquing the spelling on the anti-gay side's signage. Most of the cute guys are on the gay side, too (go figure).
Not that the anti-gay side has a lot of peculiar signage. They're trying to appear respectable, and most are carrying pre-printed "Let the people vote" signs. I think framing it as a democracy issue makes them feel better about the brazen bigotry that actually motivates them.
