I was in, initially. But upon speaking to some friends about it, I was reminded of arguments that were being made for and against secession after the ascension, er, I mean, re-election of George W. Bush to the throne, err, White House. By seceding, we'd be abandoning the rest of the country to the whims of the Red Staters. Imagine if we had done that in the 1860s? All those slaves, stuck on the wrong side of the border? I vote for more regional semi-autonomy. Let states sign international treaties, and choose what wars they send troops to.
