Lunar Eclipse of The Heart

I couldn't think of a better title for this post, and I needed an excuse to pass on this gorgeous shot I snatched from The Globe's website...

I was admiring the early moments of the eclipse last night on a walk home from a date, with said date.  I was like, dude, we've got to hurry and get home and bang on some pots to scare away whatever's eating the moon!

He asked me if I was affected by the moon.  I said, well, I am a Cancer.  I don't know if I buy all of that business or not, but you hear it all your life (at least all your dating life), so some of it's bound to stick.

I said, what about you?  What's your sign then?

He's a Scorpio.

My first reaction: yikes.

But according to one astrologist of my acquaintance, these are actually two very compatible signs.  As she says, "Scorpio controls and Cancer toils."  Mm.  Perfect.

As for the moon, I like to think even if I wasn't a cancer I would still be affected somehow by it and its phases.  I'm not sure how, but if every date I went on during a lunar eclipse went as smoothly and ended as sweetly as last night's (despite the signs) I would consider that sufficient.

don't know what the long term potential is, but I've always been led to believe a cancer/scorpio pairing in the sack is ssssssssssssssssssssmokin.

Don't make me bare my pincers!  When I'm done, if there's any left, you can have some.
