I spent some time in the garden yesterday between showers. My little cactus is all abloom!...
This is the first time it's done that for me. I'm flattered.
The bee balm is making its first appearance on the scene as well...
Mine is red, but there's a big bunch of bright pink on the main path...
My dahlias are still acting a little demure...
This is one of those chocolate cosmos...

A dried-out poppy seed pod...
Another incipient cone flower...
Hydrangea in that peculiar hue of delicate blue...
...and in white...
A blooming hosta down the lane...
And some honeysuckle on the fence...
