I loved the caption on this shot in the New York Times online yesterday...
One thing's for sure, we have not seen the last of Alaska's Ice Queen. She'll be plotting some kind of coup from her Ice Castle in the cold and the snow and the familiar.
There's been some silly talk of a run in 2012. I've even heard some desperate squeals for Sarah Palin to save the Grand Old Party. From what? A return to power? Bring it on!
The problem with this scenario is that it seriously underestimates the GOP's ability to find someone stupider and more vile in the next four years. Fear not, it can be done.
