The Attack of the Giant Globe Thistles and Spider Flowers

The Garden is coming alive again, after the soggiest June on record.

The bumble bees are feasting on the giant globe thistles...

And the spider flowers are stretching their long legs...

My bee balm has had its day...

And my lace-cap hydrangea...

Summer is not just a season.  It's another planet.
