What Part of "Man" Don't You Understand?
“I will wear you out…when was the last time you got fucked?”
I got a Tiger in my pocket and baby it's ready to roar! Who knew golfers could be so nasty! That's some totally hot sexting right there. Boo-ya!
I was talking this whole Tiger Woods business over with my favorite coworker, a mother of three from Eastie, and she was like: "scumbag!"
I said, "come on, Else. What part of 'man' don't you understand?"
I mean, the guy's got power, fame, and money. Why on earth is he going to settle for one woman who probably won't do all the things to him he wants done and won't let him do to her all the things he wants to do? I don't care how hot she is.
I'm not saying it's right. It is what it is. But come on.
When I lived in Budapest, I realized pretty quick that it was common practice among men with money to have a mistress. It was an old-school "open secret". But the fact that there was an actual place in the social universe for the mistress meant that there were also rules of etiquette that applied to the convention of taking one, and maintaining one. The real harm was not in a man taking a mistress, but in any breach of etiquette regarding the practice.
For example, there were places you could be seen with a mistress, but they were of a different sort and certainly a different caliber than where you would be seen with your wife. If you were to show up somewhere you would be expected to take your wife with your mistress, that would be basically an unforgivable insult to the wife, and the lack of judgment and respect for an age-old social convention would be an unforgivable breach of social mores and would result in infamy and isolation (if you think there are no rules outside of marriage just read Laclos' Les Liaisons dangereuses — there are reams of them).
I'm not excusing Tiger, but at least he's a little better-behaved than his animal namesake:
The female tiger is only receptive for a few days and mating is frequent during that time period. A pair will copulate frequently and noisily, like other cats. The gestation period is 16 weeks. The litter size usually consists of around 3–4 cubs of about 2.2 lb each, which are born blind and helpless. The females rear them alone, sheltering them in dens such as thickets and rocky crevices. The father of the cubs generally takes no part in rearing them. Unrelated wandering male tigers may even kill cubs to make the female receptive, since the tigress may give birth to another litter within 5 months if the cubs of the previous litter are lost. The mortality rate of tiger cubs is fairly high - approximately half do not survive to be more than two years old.Let's just hope this doesn't send him off the deep end. At two-and-a-half his daughter Sam is out of the woods (so to speak), but better lock up little Charlie.
Just sayin.
