On Sunday the San Francisco Chronicle outed the Prop 8 trial's presiding judge, Vaughn Walker, calling his sexuality "the biggest open secret in the landmark trial over same-sex marriage". 

Well, not surprisingly, it was a total surprise to the National Organization for Marriage, the ones who brought us the camp classic "Gathering Storm".  Conservatives seriously need to get their Gaydar fixed.  Of course, if they turned it on it'd go nuts, and then you'd think they'd have to finally acknowledge that the Republican Party is really just basically the troll-version of a White Party. 

But, predictably, NOM is crying foul, and there's talk of Walker recusing himself.  But if they think just because he's gay he's biased towards gays they've got it all wrong.  They have only to look at the religious right and the Republican Party to see that organizations crawling with closet homos are always the most virulently anti-gay.

It's called str8 h8. 

Now, luckily Walker's not one of those queens.  And I don't think he'll be forced to recuse himself.  But obviously the str8 h8ers will scream bias if he rules Prop 8 unconstitutional, which it is.  And with the ghouls on the Supreme Court ready to pounce (Scalia would relish the opportunity to outlaw gay marriage), fasten your seatbelts.  It's going to be a bumpy ride.
