It's Show Time!


The lilacs in the garden are bursting forth:

...along with daffodils and tulips, hyacinth and bleeding heart. If you're in the neighborhood, drop by and have a look at the gardens.  It's that time of year again.

    I love the smell of lilacs! In Maine, though, they're not really out till nearer Mother's Day, which is what I associate them with, being from that state. Still, it's lovely to have them back, along with the rest of the early spring flowers. It's all a beautiful march towards SUMMER :)
