There's been a lot of buzz lately around Laura Bush's new biography, Quips and Queefs, and some are saying that rabid interest in the former First Lady's memoirs signals that George W. Bush is poised to make a comeback, too. 



"The rehab's well under way," a Bush confidant recently told the press, although it was not entirely clear from his comments whether the former president had actually fallen off the wagon and was back at Betty Ford, or this was just colorful hyperbole for a nation recovering from the shambolic state of affairs Mr. Bush left the country in when he stumbled off into the sunset. 

Even better, it turns out, as my secret sources in Crawford tell me: he will actually be replacing Bret Michaels, who recently suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage, on Team Rocksolid on Season 3 Celebrity Apprentice!!! OMG!!!

A spokesman for Mr. Bush told the press today: "the President is thrilled to have this opportunity. We believe he has a real future in Reality TV.  After this it's either The Last Comic Standing or The Biggest Loser."
