Moving on up?

They're showing my place tomorrow at one — they don't waste any time, I'll tell ya.  Meanwhile I was cruising craigslist looking for one bedrooms in the neighborhood when I stumbled upon this:

Recognize that view?

It's two or three floors up and a little to the left of where I am right now.

So I called the property management company and got their broker's number, and I'm seeing the place tomorrow — at the same time they're showing my place downstairs!  Imagine that!

It's about $300 more a month, but that's on the lower end of the going rate for a 1 bedroom in my neighborhood, and not having to use my bed as a home office — not having to use my bed for everything — it'll be worth it, trust me.

It'd be an easy move, that's for sure.

Make sure they leave you the living room couch, that one looks fabulous!

Now - as somebody who has gone through various real estate transactions... THAT is NOT the way you show a place... the bedroom?? the coffee table??? That's more material for a potential stalker than for a serious tenant!

I know -- I thought the same thing (about the sofa and the stalker).

Easy moves are good. I guess I'd better increase my workout schedule to prepare. Unless of course you've tossed all those books and bought a Kindle. :)

Welp, it was not the flat in the pics, and not worth the extra bucks. But the realtor is on the case, and it looks promising that I'll find something nicer in the neighborhood...

I've been browsing your pictures of the garden and find it even more beautiful this year.

...Thanks, Anita!  Thank goodness it's matured to the point where it can almost take care of itself!
