Good Thing I'm Not a Betting Man

See, here's why I love Boston.

This morning, out of the blue, I got this delightful all-caps personalized email from Barry at Theo Associates, the company that handles leasing for Restaurant Row:
GUESS YOU DON';T KNOW YOUR ASS FROM YOUR ELBOW BELOW ARE YOUR QUOTES HOW WRONG CAN ONE PERSON BE ????

FYI   ALL MOM AND POP FAIR PRICED VENUES

RESTAURANT ROW IN THE FENWAY IS ALMOST SET TO OPEN!!!!!

BOSTONS FAVORITE BAR  A D GRILL THORNTONS IS LOOKING SPECTACULAR

ROD DEE THAI AND EL PELON MEXICAN CAN'T WAIT TO RE-OPEN

SWISH SHABU IS BRINGING AUTHENTIC HOT POT DINING  WITH SUSHI BAR

A LOCAL FAVORITE WOOD FIRED UPSCALE PIZZERIA WILL OPEN IN THE FALL

GREEK/MIDDLE EAST CUISINE WILL ALSO HAVE A FALL OPENING

****ALL SPACES ARE LEASED EXCEPT ONE*****

PATIO SEATING OUTDOOR DEC LIGHTING ACCENTS ETC MAKE RESTAURANT ROW THE PLACE TO GO

While Gold says he "would never want a regional or national chain in his building" you can be 100% sure that locals will be priced out.  The whole neighborhood is going that way.

But even City Council President Mike Ross is rushing to assure us all that Gold's "plans will include the return of those exact types of small neighborhood businesses."

I wouldn't bet on it.

I was perversely tickled to get this douchey email from someone who obviously does not understand reverse-psychology.  But never mind.  I haven't felt this good being in the wrong since Jake Gyllenhaal slapped that restraining order on me!  It was worth it Jake!  It was so worth it!

But now I can't wait to have brunch at Thornton's!  WOO-HOO!

(It's a good thing I'm not a betting man or I might owe Barry a beer.  And that'd hurt.)

Is that the original layout of the email?? Caps, highlights, colors and fonts?? Besides anything else, Barry and Theo Associates may need a refresher in basic graphic design...

Yes, I thought the oversized royal blue comic sans signature was truly inspired.  It gave me goosebumps!
