Almost Paradise
While I haven't been able to spend quite as much time as I'd like in my garden this year, it's been gorgeous this week...
And the Accessible Garden, which is actually where I've been working most of the time, is coming along, with some shrubs donated by landscapers working in the West Fens to soften up the hard edges of the raised beds a bit. Pics to come!
Do those unearthly lovely lushly lavender petals belong to peonies? I occasionally envy the Northeast's late spring flowers (so hard to sustain in SoCal's aridity). BTW glad you found some students to do the Accessible Garden @ Northeastern, right? Hope to see more pix of that area on the other blog.

And are the orange ones center frame poppies? We put in an Icelandic Poppy this spring and it has blossomed continuously with both bright yellow and brilliant orange flowers.

Yes, those are poppies. I love 'em too. I have been trying to get a nice big stand of them there, but they haven't quite taken...
